Delivery split in shipment document after planning is started

Hi,

what my client will be practicing here is that

create delivery documents w/o PGI eg 20 tons is the qty in delivery doc.

make shipment docs with refference to this delivery.

start planning and then when the truck comes with capacity of 15 tons.

then should we go for Delivery split in shipment document after planning? if yes pls give me the steps because i was trying for it, after simulate split what to do?

what are the implications or results of "delivery split in shipment document" on original delivery document.

pls. respond.

I think u shud go for delivery split using VLSP.
