Material type for production parts

Hi!

I need to create parts that are components of production machinery. They need to be shipped often for repair/modification so they need to have a cost and be maintained inventory without affecting inventory value. I need for the price and foreign trade info to appear on outbound deliveries. FHMI is used for tools but does maintain value....Any suggestions? Thanks!

In transaction OMS2 you can define if your material type will update value and quantity.

Hello

Usually, we don't change the settings of standard SAP material types. You should create your own material and change those settings.
