It depends on your data source in S/4HANA. If you are using embedded BW in S4, you can use transient providers - see https://blogs.sap.com/2017/09/06/sap-s4hana-embedded-analytics-overview-and-positioning-meet-the-expert-webcast-recap/

There is an SAP blog on connecting CDS views with Analysis Office https://blogs.sap.com/2017/05/12/consumption-of-cds-views-in-analysis-for-office/

Hi Tommy,

Thanks for your response.

I tried SAP HANA http OLAP connection and click on Connect in SAP BO Analysis for Office 2.4

here User Name & Password I was given my S4HANA Cloud login credentials and it shows the following error,

We have upgrade Analysis for Office 1.4 to Analysis for Office 2.5

Created SAP HANA http connection in Analysis for Office given as below details,

Note : I tried HTTP and HTTPS both schemes.

create connection and select created connection as given SAP S/4HANA Cloud login details it shows the following error,

If any configuration required in S/4HANA cloud system.

Please share as your valuable inputs.

Thanks,

sekhar

Hi all,

I too have no ability to connect through HTTPS to my S/4HANA Cloud tenant. Are there step-by-step instructions available anywhere?

Many thanks,

Jon
