Fiori app embedded as mashup in C4C opportunity

Former Member

Hi all,

We are thinking of building some Fiori apps to act as forms for a sales person as they progress through an opportunity. However, to provide a streamlined user experience, we are wondering if they can be embedded as a mashup within a C4C opportunity.

Has anyone done something like this or similar?

Thanks in advance

Hi Mark,

Yes this can be done via mashup authoring. But you also have to consider SSO between the two systems and set this up so users are automatically logged into SCP(formerly HCP) as well as setting up the SCP OAUTH Identity provider in Hybris Cloud for Customer. I have also seen setup as a URL on the homepage or within each object (opportunity in your case) to launch SCP. Then SSO works for the SCP application itself if setup, and the session is opened within Hybris Cloud for Customer, just as another window. This is simple option if quick solution is needed.

Thanks Grayson, you mentioned 'open as a new window' - do you mean something like have a URL within an opportunity, and when the user clicks the URL, it opens a new browser window that contains the Fiori app?

OR can it be done so that the actual Fiori/UI5 app is embedded within the opportunity, say as a new tab/facet, and the user can work within the opporutunity itself (no additional window opening)?

Thanks in advance

Mark,

My answers was about both options,

Mashup authoring= embedded.

"Yes this can be done via mashup authoring. But you also have to consider SSO between the two systems and set this up so users are automatically logged into SCP(formerly HCP) as well as setting up the SCP OAUTH Identity provider in Hybris Cloud for Customer
"

URL link= Open as a new window
