Deficit of Stock in Transit/Error during goods receipt posting

Hi All,

I created IBD in S4system and it is replicated to EWM.

Using PRDI transaction I posted the GR.

The expectation is to update the stock in ROD storage location in MMBE.

But I am not seeing the stock in MMBE.

In SMQ2 I can see it is stuck with above message "Deficit of stock in Transit(Message no. M7021). Screen shot below:

Later in EWM even I create Warehouse task and Warehouse order, stock getting changed from F1 to F2 and stock is visible in MON transaction.

But the data is not getting replicating to S4/ECC.

I checked availability group settings, storage location mapping, PPF settings for goods movement, all looks fine for me.

Kindly help me to resolve this error.

Thanks,

Hari

    Hi Hari,

"2. Now in PRDI transaction in EWM I posted the GR."-> I suggest create new inbound delivery in ECC and post the GR in EWM, then please share the screenshot of log/queue as per your first message. Please do not do further steps like create WT,Confirm ........

    Kind Regards.

    Hi Hari,

It seems GR has not done and stuck up in the queue. Please check the below points

1> GR with Stock F1-> Material document posted in ECC if not , Please check the queue, it stuck up with some error .In your case, it is ROD storage location.

2> Putaway ( Posting change from F1 to F2 )-> If first point is not posted then this will not happen in ECC, it is clearly pointing ( see your error log).ROD to AFS Location

"and stock is visible in MON transaction" -> The stock is updated in ECC with interface which has already you mentioned, Because the queue has stuck up , so stock has not updated ( Material document in ECC not posted )

Please let us know if you have further queries.

    Kind Regards,

    Ajit

    Hi Ajit,

    Thanks for the reply.

Below is the process I followed.

    1. I created IBD in ECC-VL31N. Delivery distributed to EWM

    2. Now in PRDI transaction in EWM I posted the GR.

    3. Then I am seeting this error in QUEUE, stock is neither updating in ECC nor material document created.

Even if we process the Delivery further in EWM, we are able to create WT and WO. And the stock type also changing from F1 to F2 after WO confirmation. In EWM we can see all the stock details clearly in MON transaction.

The problem is goods movement replication is not happening from EWM to ECC hence stock not getting updated or material documents or other required updates are not happening in ECC.

Kindly advise how to check this part.

    Thanks,

    Hari.

    Hi All,

Still I have not got solution for this, I am not sure if this something related to technical(Basis/Abap) or functional. With the error in Queue I am not getting any clue where to check.

    Thanks,

    Hari.

    Hi Hari/Ajit,

I am also facing the same issue when posting GR after WT and WO got confirmed in EWM .

When I checked SMQ2 , I found this error and no material document got posted.

Then, I created inbound delivery against PO and performed GR in IM sloc of plant.

Delivery does not get distributed as expected but GR failed with same error message "Deficit of stock..."

Does this give any clue if this is related to ECC related setup.

Ok I resolved the issue , it was my mistake that I gave plant code created as vendor in PO

When I changed it to external vendor, everything worked fine.
