I have 3 assignments in my SMLG in my BI system
One of it -SAP_PROG has 3 servers in it. One CI and 2 App servers.
When I run Java reports (100 + users accessing the system), I can see that the load is not shared properly. When I goto SMGW I can see 20% users in one system and 80% users in the other system. How can I fix it to be 50-50?
Please advise,
Thanks, Jim
Hi Jim,
you make sure that all your user's log in with logon group only( to CI). If any user log in with specific DI(Dialog/Application Server) it's not possible to share the load.
You can't put exactly 50% users on one box and remaining on other, because once user login to Message server, it will find which server(DI) providing better response time for the last 10 min. and send's the user to that Application server.
So you check the response times in ST03N as well.
Regards,
Hari.
PS: Points are welcome.

If you look in SU01 you would be able to see the user group you are assigned to - in the "logon data" tab. As well, you can force to use a logon group through the logon pad ( I think so)
Thanks, Mehfil
