Hello gurus!!
We have a business package to be implemented here. We have about 8 different groups. We also have abt 15 roles for these groups and the content of these roles is only 10% different from each other. In a nutshell, we have 90% common content for all these roles and only 10% are different for these roles.
Now, we also decided upon going for role merge feature where in we will be creating a common content folder for all the common content for all these 8 groups and there will be group specific folders where the group specific content will be created. Now, my question is as follows:
For ex, I have a "Home" workset from the business package. I want this workset for all the groups and hence I will copy this workset into the common worksets folder. Now, this Home workset has in turn 4 different worksets and about 4 iviews and 5 pages assigned as delta links. If a content developer needs to change a parameter value in one of the iviews of the Home workset, does the developer need to go and edit the iview assigned to this workset? Or Should I break the iviews, pages and worksets assigned to this Home workset and then reassign them as delta links to the Home workset and then make changes to the iviews?
I am confused here. Please suggest me a feasible solution.
Thanks much in advance
