Hi,

I have a WebDynpro DropDownByKey filled using nodeinfo value set. Now if I set this to enabled=false, it does not fill in the items, remains empty. ReadOnly = true is not okay, becuase the combobox will not be gray but the same color as the editable one. Is it a bug in 7.31 NetWeaver which is fixed in later versions?

Thanks,

Chopin

No, value list is not coming from domain values (that's actually filled fine when disabled), the values are filled from code using nodeinfo of the context attribute.

Reproduce

1) Have a VIEW with DropDownByKey, assign a context value to it

2) In WINDOW DEFAULT plugin fill in the NodeInfo of the context attribute

3) It is showing fine

4) Make the DropDownByKey enabled = abap_false, for example on a button click (using context value assigned to enabled property)

5) The previously filled in values disappear

If we take the sandard: Readonly - it remains white background but cannot modify its content, Disabled - it is grayed out.

In case of an InputField the values are retained. In case of a DropDownByKey values from a domain value ist, the values are retained in both cases.

So the behavior I would expect is the same as above: the control is grayed out but its values are kept.

This is the behavior I would expect.

I have noticed that some styles make it difficult to distinguish between readonly and editable, perhaps there is an issue there? Maybe try running the app with a different style to see whether it looks different.
