Delivery is combined even if shipping points are different in sales order

Hi Gurus,

I have a one query, I have created one sales order having two line items, line item 10 belongs to plant P100 and line 20 belongs to plant P200.

And shipping points are P100 for line item 10 and P200 for line item 20.

Using VL01N, if I am creating delivery then both line item will be combined in one delivery.

But I am using TA-VL10G and enter both shipping point in shipping point column and execute that transaction then delivery splits happened.

My query why when using VL01N, delivery is combined.

It should not combine because shipping point is different.

Please help, is this is a standard behaviour or something else.

Regards,

There are thousands of posts on SCN already about the delivery split. Google -> "delivery split shipping point site:sap.com" easily finds posts where people complain about the deliveries being split (which answers your question whether this is a standard functionality - yes, it is). Many replies are given there that explain the split functionality. It's likely you'll be able to use the same information to solve the opposite problem.

This is just from the top of the list:

You can also use ANST transaction to both see if any correction SAP notes are available or if some custom code was implemented. It's a bit tricky and does not always work but can be helpful. And, of course, there is always SAP Support if you are using pure standard.

Have a look at OSS note 546668 which explains in detail about Delivery split.

This is fascinating - I had a colleague who promised me a delivery with multiple shipping points many years ago... I am still waiting for that to happen :)

Anyway, if you see absolutely no code in the user exits and you are using only SAP standard routines in VTLA (are you 100% sure about this part, just to be on the safe side look at the code in all routines), then the last resort is to debug - who knows, there could be some modification, which your colleagues forgot to document.

If Plant and Shipping Points are different, then definitely, you will have delivery split which you may not know when creation. If you are sure that via VL01N, you could see both the line items, then, it could be due to some delivery exit.

Hi Sir,

I checked the user exit like

MV50AFZ2

MV50AFZZ

MV50AFZ1

But I don't find any code there, even I checked the custom exit and copy control setting.

If you know any exit where we can code this logic, then please let me know and using VL10g splits happened.

Thanks for the quick response.

Actually I checked the all user exits but I could not find any code related to delivery combination or splitting.

And in VTLA, we are using standard routines having some modification which is not related to above case.

I will check Badi or customer exits.
