Sub Item and Main Item in Sales Order


I am working on a simple service case where we have hierarchial sales order set up means a Header Item and based on the services we want to add sub items gradually and then invoice it accordingly.

Header item in this case is a CO object and settles to COPA.

Is it possible to have sub items 'Account Assigned' to Header Item then entire revenue can be collected on header item and will be settled to COPA further. It could have been so easy if we were using WBS but its not the case here. Also we dont want to get into Pricing complexity as this is a simple scenario of services.

Please advice if this is possible to have sales order sub items account assigned to Header Items.
