Hi,

We have one xMII System and ECC System. We are creating the connection between both the systems.

Without using XI.

--> From ECC to xMII we will send IDOC from ECC, it can be received by xMII system. We have some documents related to this scenario and have good idea.

--> The question is for data from xMII to ECC, how we can receive data at ECC system and how it can be sent by xMII system at right connection for ECC System ?

Please help, it is urgent.

Hi,

You can communicate to R/3 from xmii by making BAPI/RFC calls, or through web-service calls.

To call the BAPI you have to add a JCO action block in ur transaction & give the BAPI name in it.

Hi Sushma,

Thanks for your reply,

Where I will add BAPI name at xMII system ? how it will send data direct to R/3 System ?

I have idea of receiving IDOC at R/3 as Inbound and can post the same also.

but for sending the message from xMII with right connection to R/3, I have no idea, please give me a detailed idea for the same. need some config. ?

Hi,

You have to first create a connection to the R/3 system from xmii using Data Servers. Then create a BLT & add a JCO Interface action block. Click "Configure Object" & specify the name of the connection that u have created in SAP System Alias field. Then give the name of the BAPI/RFC . If you know the name of the RFC u can straight away give it in the SAP RFC Name field or use the search pattern to get the function module name.

Go to Configure Links & assign the data that you want to send to R/3.

I highly recommend attending the SAP Education Courses TPMII1 & TPMII2 before you attempt an xMII Implementation. The information that you will learn in these workshop classes will be invaluable.

Hi Experts,

As there is two way communication from R/3 to XMII and XMII to R/3

At R/3 side I can check the connection in SM59, it is working fine,

How I can check connection from XMII to R/3 ?

How I will send BAPI data from XMII to R/3 ?

How R/3 will receive that data ?

Hi,

I think you need your configure SAP server under xMII menu->Data services->SAP Server Configurations. Just create a instance by copying SAP_JCO and give your user credentials and server properties.
