RFC to SOAP synchronous scenario: Error MessagingException: No response available.

Dear All,

Here my scenario is RFC PI SOAP synchronous interface. While sending the message from PI receiver system is expecting SOAP envelope, I added this envelop with xslt mapping. Even response message is expected to come with SOAP envelope, so I removed with Xslt.. Now I am getting below error message in response:

Error: <SAP:AdditionalText>com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: No response available.

http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:SAP=" http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30"> XIAdapterFramework GENERAL com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: No response available.

</SAP:AdditionalText> <SAP:Stack/> <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry> </SAP:Error>

Can anyone please let me know what could be the issue? How to resolve the isse?

Regards,

Amita

    Hi Amita,

Did you test the web service with any external tool like SOAPUI? if you are able to get a response from soap ui from the same input message then the problem is with your configuration, else with source message.

    Hi Amita,

Maybe you could get the soap response xml message from GUI monitor and test in IR to see if the operation mapping got any problems.

    Hi Amita!

What is the aim to add SOAP Envelope to outgoing message? SOAP adapter adds it itself by default. If you didn't turn off using SOAP envelope in adapter's settings - you would get your message double wrapped with SOAP Envelope tags.
