Document Management System in ByD

Dear Gurus,
I have want to use the system to file external documents and internal printforms (invoice, shipping documents and so on) and to use them for legal archiving. I have some questions in order to understand if I can use ByD for this pourpose.

1. I can attach external document into the system. May I define new document type? If yes, where can I?
2. is there any content server I can file external document in? Is it into SAP ByD? Is it an add on or a extrenal system?
3. How can I search a document I have attached?
4. May I automatically file printout created by ByD (for instance invoice) into ByD in digital format?
5. Is there any archiving tool of documents through barcode?
6. If I can file documents, how can I export documents and data in order to use legal archiving?

Yes you can attach any documents in any business documents , You can add excel, word doc, PDF, jpeg, JPG, txt files. In the attachments tab

of any business documents.

You can search thru the business document no, Sales Order no

A pdf is ready available, which is also printable and can ve downloaded and upload.

5. Is there any archiving tool of documents through barcode?

No
6. If I can file documents, how can I export documents and data in order to use legal archiving?

Not sure what exactly is your requirement here..
