Hello,
we are about to move another system to hana. This time about it's Solution Manager 7.1
This guide seems to address the topic quite well:
https://blogs.sap.com/2016/05/04/simplified-upgrade-and-migration-to-sap-solution-manager-72/
The question however is, is this still valid when you already have a split stack with your 7.1 System?
Would the approach then be -> Upgrade to 7.2 and then move to HANA or can this be done in one go/step? (and can this be done with SUM + DMO or would i need a heterogeneous system copy )
I was expecting to get a special option in Maintenance Planner like it was for erp 6.0 to move to s/4 but there's none to be found.
Thanks for your Input
to follow up on my own question. If you you already got a split system (even if they share the same app server) you still got to play the "SUM jazz" twice as you can't run 2 SUM processes simultaneously for different systems. Also note that a Java Stack cannot be moved to HANA via the the DMO Option of SUM (got to use SWPM for that)
