Being with SAP, you might ask your colleagues or search in SAP's notes or documentation.

By the way, why do you want to create an artifact, if you don't know its purpose?

Hi ,

Thank you for your reply sir!

I was just exploring the latest syntax & developments , i came across this object type - Generic fast search view hence i thought to explore this topic as well , Surely i will ask my colleagues & search SAP Documents on this & later come with some new query if any.

thanks,

Shivam

Being curious, I have searched the SAP notes and the Web : SAP notes show that FSI views (FSI = Fast Search Infrastructure) are related to the BC-SRV-FSI application component. It's also described in some SAP patents. It seems that the FSI can be TREX (and maybe other search engines with TREX interface).
