Hi All,
i have an issue with the position dates, for one position the dates have been delimited.
position 1 - from 04/01/2006 to 05/14/2006
position 1 - from 05/15/2006 to 12/31/9999.
but i wanted the validity dates should be 04/01/2006 to 12/31/9999. i don't need the second option.
Is there any table or screen where i can change the validity period. Even i tried to change from the screen PPOME, which is not accepting. Please help me out on this.

Thanks,
vasu
Hi,
U can do this by using SPRO Settings which is functional job.
and the other thing is u can also try using PP01 transaction and
change the validity dates for the position.

Manian.

Use PP01
Enter the object type & id
Select object infotpe
Select CREATE function from toolbar
Overwrite start date with first record start date and end date with second/last record end date. Enter the Abbreviation & description you want and hit save.
The system will return a warning it will delete/delimit overlapping records . Go-ahead and save the record.
This will merge two IT1000 records into one.
