SMP server is not getting started shows status starting

Hi experts,

I am using SMP server 3.0 SP12 . Server is not getting started after shows status starting.

Server was running previously. one the application deployed on the server password was reset and with out changing the password in javaBE.ini file of the application i restarted server by mistake . Server is not getting started i tried all the avalible SAP notes for SMP server not starting but of no use. when i checked it logs i found out the application which password was reset is failing to load due to wrong password.

i to deleted the application from the configuration folder of SMP server but when i restart the server application get loaded again. i tried to reset the password in javaBE.ini file but when i restart the server it take old password and SMP server is not getting started due to password wrong.

Can anyone suggest how do i resolve this issue. is ther anyway i can delete application from the configuration folder of SMP without getting loaded again when i restart server .

I take that you were not able to go to cockpit to remove the application there. If you are able to get into the cockpit, delete the app. recreate and republish again.

I am not such if you try options in this KBA 2162052.

Please try deleting the content of work folder and try again
