Genaric Article in Sales Order

hi

While creating Sales order if i enter Generic Article system not exploding variant articles where as while creating Purchase order it is giving pop up to enter quantities for variants wise.

e.g.

if i enter A1088

it should give main articles varients

A1088-RED

A1088-BLU

A!088-YEL
