I found the Error in Event log in SSP server.

at this time, Is the server error message not displayed?
for example:Server Error - 404 - File or directory not found

What is the version that you use?

Hi VP,

The errors you listed suggest your server is getting maxed out in term of resources. Rebooting server fix issue because it resets all connections. This is not speecific to Afaria, this is more of IIS and server resources issues. Couple things you may want to do is to run netstat -an when issue occurs again to see if you have a large number of tcp/ip connections stuck in Close_Wait status which will keep socket open on server side eventually forcing you to reboot machine to reset. Do you have any other active applications running on that IIS server beside SSP service? you could also change Managed pipeline mode in the applicaiton pool settings for SSP in IIS. Mine is set to Integrated, you may try Classic to see if you get better results. I would recommend checking Windows Task Manager to check system resources in term of memory and cpu when you have the issue. I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Aziz

Hi Aziz,

Thank you for your reply.

We have 2 separate Afaria Server, 2 SSP servers, 2 Relay, 1 DB. No other services on SSP services.

Will there any impact if i change to classic. is there any impact to enrolled device to new enrollment ? Do i need to reboot services after change ?

Attached the SSP names in application pools. Please suggest which one need to change
