F-03 Clearing of GL account

Hi,

While clearing the account thru tcode F-03 I have put the clearing date as 30.09.2007 & the period is still open the system clears the documnet But in FBL3n it shows the clearing date as 01.10.2007, WHY???

& this is happening first time.

hi Meenakshi,

On the screen F-03 in Additional selections tab pls check mark the Posting date and then u do it.....

Hi,

This selection is for selecting the line items with posting dates.

it is not going to effect the clearing date

Hi,

My user is clearing the bank gl account after uloading the statements thru MT940.

But when we clear the account by putting the clearing date 30.09.2007 the system should clear the document by defining the date 30.09.2007 But system is showing the clearing date as 01.10.2007 in that particular gl acct.

What can be the issue for this?

Hi,

One or more of the items included in the clearing had a posting date of 01.10.2007. In cases where posting date of item being cleared > posting date of clearing document, the former is used as the clearing date.
