Hi experts,

We need to write to RFID tag through SAP agentry application developed for Windows 6.5 OS (Intermec CN71 Device). The application can read RFID tag (by using Barcode Scan field type)

As far as I know, RFID writing is not supported through agentry application. Do I need to create an external control or C# application to achieve this?

Is there any documentation available for this?

You will need to create an Active X control or external application that could be called from the Agentry client.

Hi,

Thanks Bill for reply

I am trying to use OpenScan Win CE sdk

https://help.sap.com/viewer/42dc90f1e1ed45d9aafad60c80646d10/3.0.15/en-US/5874c04c64e34be3a9cfca57425c9046.html

I've done the necessary things as shown in the help document

However, I'm not getting any return message as mentioned in help link (current time stamp as the scan data)

Am I missing anything over here. I've even added the registry keys also on the device

Where I can check the logs?

I do not believe the OpenScan SDK will give you the write capability you want. OpenScan is designed to let you write an interface to receive data from a scanning engine / sdk and pass it back to the Agentry client as a scan event. This can be triggered either by a soft scan button in the client or via a hardware event.
