System Landscape (two different URL's)

Hi,

When entering the parameters for a backend system. Is there a way of using a Portal alias as the URL path.

The reason for this is our service is being routed through Apache and this is re-writing the URL.

If anyone can help I would be gratefully and award points.

Hi Kai,

I am afraid i havent understood you question well. Please care to elaborate. As you can always have 2 dns entries pointing to the same portal and use can use that....

Hi,

This is different. We are currently rewriting URL's to one single URL. What it appears that on the system landscape I need to specify a URL for our ITS host. This service is rewritten to be a service under the Portal URL....

example

http://company.com/sap/its

It appears that I must enter the http://company.com, which I would like to really use whatever the user has entered in their browser.

Is this possible???

Many Thanks

Kai
