cProjects 4.0 - Project ID Generation

Hi All,

The number ranges could be used in cprojects 3.1 to automate the project/ object ids using IF_EX_DPR_ATTRIBUTES~SET_DEFAULTS_UPON_CREATION.

Does anyone know how the project id can be generated using number ranges in 4.0 ?

Also, how this field can be set to display only.

Hi,

In order to change the behaviour of a particular field on cProjects screen, use <b>Field Control</b> cncept of cProject 4.0

Make sure you donot make any changes in the standard SAP settings that are given. Copy the standard setting to make modifications to it.

BAdI: DPR_ATTRIBUTES

Method: SET_DEFAULTS_UPON_CREATION

Filter Value: DPO (Project Definition)
