Hi,

we have configured My timesheet app Version 2 , its working perfectly with Chrome but its not working properly with IE 11 meaning that while create or delete time entries its not coming in time entry list. i found that its cache issue if i'm disable cache in IE11 its working fine .

Go to Internet Options. On the General tab, under Browsing History click Settings. Select the "Every time I visit the webpage" radio button.

But this app using more 10k users we cannot tell them do above settings in IE11 to all users.

App details are below : Component : UIHR001

SP-Level : 0003 Support Package : SAPK-10003INUIHR001

SAPUI5 : 1.38.18 (20170124-1252)

Is there any SAP Note or server setting to sort out Cache issue in IE 11?

Thanks ,

Prasad D

It is specific to browsers.

Run the report - /ui5/app_index_calculate. This ensures that browser gets only the fresh files are pulled by server.

But time and again as a developer you may have to refresh the cache stored on your browser.

Hi Sharath ,

Thanks for your response.

I have already run report /ui5/app_index_calculate but still having same problem.

And as it is standard fiori app i cannot write code for refresh the cache stored on your browser.

You cannot refresh. But, you can clear the cache on your browser.

Clear the browser cache and schedule the report int he backend to run periodically, depending on frequency of development on your server.

I understand the concern of the client but when the client uses it, it will be on a production system and changes are not pushed in the way it's done on the dev server.

I checked with SAP and they suggest the same, apart from manually setting to not use cache, which is not possible in standard fiori apps.

Sharath,

Can you please help me to understand how to schedule the report int he backend to run periodically.

It's similar to scheduling an ABAP report to run in the background. Maybe once a week or twice a week or once a month
