Hi SAPiens,

I am working on SAP ECC (RFC) to SFDC via SAP PI (ICO Object).

Whenever I am running RFC from ECC my sender RFC channel is getting stuck with status "Message processing started".

RFC destination is created in ECC system.. Channel ping is successful...

What can be the issue here?

BR,

Rashmi

Hi Rashmi,

have You in SAP ECC a function? In This function, have you the destination?

In the called of your function, you must have some like this.

CALL FUNCTION 'ZXX_XXXXX'
DESTINATION 'RFCPI'
EXPORTING
P_USUARIO = USUARIO
IMPORTING
P_ENTRADA = P_ENTRADA_R
COMMIT WORK.

The destination that you created in SM59 must be type TCP, after you must put this destination in your RFC Sender Connector.

In SM59 your destination must have a gateway, it is very important.

Hi Luis Amable Armijos Valarezo,

Thanks for the reply!!!

Not much familiar with the ABAP but when I checked with ABAP persom, he said RFC is empty and to call this RFC they will be building code which can be executed using SE38...

Until this program is ready, any other way to test this interface...

Also, is there any way to enable RFC sender channel logs so that I can see what this channel brought into PI.

BR,

Rashmi

Hi Rashmi,

If you interface es asynchronous, you can go to http://address:port/dir, choose Configuration and Monitoring Home, after Adapter Engine, after Message Monitor.

If you interface es synchronous, then you go to http://address:port/dir, choose Configuration and Monitoring Home, after Adapter Engine, after Communication Channel Monitor and you search the channerl send that you are using.

For prove you integration from SAP ECC, you can go to the SE37, execute the funtion, in Sist. dest. RFC. you must put the RFC destination.

Regards.
