How to determine the hierarchy level

Hi there,

my situation as follows:

I am using a dimension filter on a characteristic with a hierarchy on top.

Step 1: I need to find out whether the user selected one or more nodes/leafs. No problem!

Step 2: I need to find out the exact “hierarchy-level” the user selected as only the nodes of a specific level should trigger an event.

Is there a way to get the hierarchy-level of a selection?

Alternative: Is there a way to determine the key of the “parent” as these keys always start with “XYZ”?
