Ides: Business partners: Error handler in function CreateNewBoBpAddress?

Hello

I have installed the Mobile Sales Client with the IDES demo database. When I try to create a new business partner I get the error:

"Business partners: Error handler in function CreateNewBoBpAddressDflt reached"

Does anybody new what this means, and what to do?

Hi,

I think the problem is because the variables in this method are defined with mixed mode of upper and lowercase. You need to change all variable to the same mix as they are declared.

note 1049029 solved also other similar issues on norwegian (and probably other northern european languages too) installations -> see OSS messages.

For your information: VB6 and VB.NET is not case sensitive i.e. upper and lower case shouldn't be a problem at all...;-))

Thank you for your suggestion, but I'm not able to find a note with that number. are you sure the note number is correct? Did you get the same error after the install of the Ides system?

One of our customers had the same error and after applying this note it was corrected, although it wasn't on the ides systen, but 5.0 SP6.

Hi,

since 8th Oct the note is released now and therefore available also from outside SAP.

From SP7 upwards note 1000220 is available.

Hi BR Angler,

Please apply Note 1049029 and see if the issue is solved. If you on 5.0, note also includes the framework hotfix for SP06.
