problem on recording

while i was recording using shdb for sales i;e va01 tcode i entered

standard order: or

sales organization : 1000

ditribution channel : 10

division : 00

sold-to party : 1000

po number : xyz

material : 781

item : 10

but while recording it was showing material no is not assigned for sales organization how to get suitable values can any body help plz?

Hi,

While assiging material in Sales order creation screen, place cursor in material entry screen and click icon for search help. In the next dialog box, give sales organization : 1000

ditribution channel : 10

division : 00

So now u will get the materials pertaining to the given sales org, dist. channel and division.

Hi

Just goto SE16

enter VBAK table

enter the Sales orgn 1000

take few sales order numbers

and copy them

then goto SE16 again enter VBAP table

enter the copied sales order numbers

you will see the material for that sales orders

take one or 2 of those materials

now create/record the VA01 with the existing data in the VBAK and VBAP tables

try to first cretae manually a single sales order and then start recording with the same data you will succeed
