A client manufactures electronic equipment with firmware that gets updated regularly. Whenever a firmware for a specific product needs to be upgraded, I would like to place a temporary block on outbound deliveries for a that product. How is this done in Business Bydesign?
Hi Stefan
I would like to have the sales orders blocked from being released. The key is to use the product as the parameter to block a sales order instead of the customer. One product can be related to various sales orders so ideally you should be able to use the product.

Hi Pierre,
could you please tell a little bit more about what you exactly mean by this temporary block. Would you like to stop sales orders in the outbound logistics control work center from being released or do you also want to stop the creation of tasks and the goods receipt posting for delivery proposals in the outbound logistics work center?
Best regards,
Stefan

Hi Pierre,
I guess you need a Logistics Area ID, it is only for the specific product.

Benny
