From the Technical (ABAP) point of view...It should be no differences at all...SAP hides the OS complexity....You sure going to get a very different desktop, but nothing else...

    Hi ,

Could you please explain me whether the SAP logon pad is there in Solaris OS system as same in Windows OS. From the ABAP point of view is there any difficulty in using the OS sytems other than Windows for an ABAPer. Urgent Please let me know.Any thing needs to do for seeing the SAP logon pad.

    Thanks

As I told you, it should be no differences regarding SAP Logon or ABAP programming...They should be exactly the same as Windows...
