Transport Support Packages

Hi Gurus,

I have imported some packages in Development System. How do I create request to transport it to Quality or Production.

Also can I directly import the support packages in Quality or Production by logging in client 000 which is the best practice.

Hi Parvez,

You don't transport Support Packages... you just need to implement them in each of the system after testing.

Hi Parvez,

once support packages are imported as a primary step it creates cofile and datafile of that supportpackage (ex:kb64019.sap and rb64019.sap) are stored in under cofiles folder and datafile foler

but pratice of implementing support packages in quality and also in production will be directly applying the support packeage by loging in client 000 with user like DDIC not by importing cofiles and datafile generated at development system.
