I've been doing XS OData on Cloud Platform with create/update using stored procedures via batch processing and achieved some success. My latest project intends to post some massive data to XSOData via HCI using the OData Connector. We are still debating if it should be done via batch or multiple synchronous calls to XS OData.
So my question is...
Does HANA XS OData or XSJS handle parallel processing by default? I read in the HANA Developer Guide and some posts that parallel execution can only be done on the SQL Script level, particularly in stored procedures. I also attended a cloud foundry training where it was mentioned that threads or instances are created once a certain load is reached. Does HANA DB have this capability?
