I WANT TO COPY A STANDARD PROGRAM WHAT SHOULD I DO!

AS IT IS CONTANING SO MANY INCLUDES,SO PLZ TELL ME WHAT TO DO!

Goto SE80 and pass the program name and click on enter.... and Rightclick on the program and click on copy this way u system will ask you to copy all the related files to that program .

Hi Robin,

U need to press the copy button...

Program----->copy.

Give a new Zname to the program and all add the attributes ..

As soon as u click the copy button , it will ask u weder to copy all the includes, scrrens assosciated.

Check it and enter.

Thats it.

Do award points for the same..

Hi

enter the program name in the SE38 editor

click on copy button

then it will ask you for the new name

when ever you click on the copy transfer buton

then it will raise a pop and saying that what ever you want from the program like

1) INCLUDES

2)SCREENS

3)USER INTERFACES

4)VARIANTS

5) DOCUMANTATION

ETC..

hat ever you clcik on that check box

thats all

Hi Robin

go to se38 in program write standard program name

go to menu program

copy

it will show you source program name and in target program name give your zprogram name .->copy-> next window copy all includes variants documents screens give the package name ..your zprogram will be created a exact copy of standard program.. Now you can modify it.

Hope this was what you are looking for.

Give your report name in SE38 and click on Copy button (Ctrl+F5) and check the Includes check box and Click on COPY.

Welcome to SDN forum.

First why you wants to cop[y the Std program?

to do some Modifications to the std program? have you analysed the std code in which Include you wants to change the code?

so make a note of those includes and copy those only.

Because if it contains some 30 includes all of them you may not be modifying it.

so better note down the includes which needs to be modified and change them after copying the main program.
