Can C4C Workflow Email Notification send old values on Template for a field change?

Hi Experts,

We have a use case. We have email workflow based on expected value field in opportunity. Workflow condition is email is triggered to recipients whenever 'expected value' field is changed. We are successfully able to send the changed expected value on email to recipients.

Question - Can we have the old expected value (before change) and newly changed expected value on the email template and send it to recipient by triggering workflow?

Appreciate your help and guidelines on this

Hello Ketan Patil,

Currently, the standard system can only display the value maintained in "Expected Value" before the change in the facet "Changes" of Opportunity's screen.

Is not possible to maintain a place holder for the value that was maintained previously. Hence, we can't send an e-mail via workflow rule with the old value and the current value.

In order to have the functionality of having the record of the old values maintained in a field via workflow rule, you can either post an Idea at Ideas Forum or implement it via PDI.
