Plant driven procurement

HI SRM Gurus,

We are on SRM5.0 and facing a typical problem in the Sourcing cock pit.

Requirement generated from work order in R/3 was transferred to SRM sourcing cockpit correctly and service POs with service lines were created.

The user deleted the SRM POs since some changes were required in the work order and made the required changes to the work order.

The sourcing cock pit did not show this requirement again.

Can any one suggest in case any solution is available.

Also some work around.

Thanks in advance

Jacquline

HI,

Thanks for the feed back.

I had done all the checks which you had suggested before coming up with this mail.

Could you please tell how the changes made to the work order in R/3 gets reflected in the SRM PO.

Is there any program which we could run again in the R/3 so that the requirements get regenrated with the changes in SRM.

Thanks

Hi Jacquline,

There is no need for any program.

Whenever you make changes to Plant Maintenance P.R in R/3 it will again populate in the EPRTRANS table in back end when the V_T160PR and V_T160EX tables were properly maintained.

Once you run the BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER report using SA38 transaction the P.R will be sent to SRM and will be visible in the sourcing cockpit.

You can create a new P.O in SRM using that requirement.

Further clarifications are always welcome.

Assign points for suitable answers.

Hi Jacquline,

Once the P.O is ordered / created it will not show up again in the sourcing cockpit.

Check for the queues in R/3 & SRM using smq2 and smq1 respectively. Also check for error messages in RZ20 (Application monitor) in SRM.

Make sure the queues are empty before the replication of P.R from R/3 to SRM.

Please let us know these observations / error messages (in case any) for further help.

Rgds,

Teja
