Hi Ram,

Integrated planning is very important and critical in SAP due to integration of many module with each other.

Say, if we do not go for integrated planning while selecting a version in CO, the data can not be carried from CCA to PCA and so on. The integrated planning decides whether or not the data can be utlised in other segments.

The SAP System supports fully integrated planning in Controlling (CO) so that you can plan your different business activities separately but with the activities remaining integrated at the same time. In this way, consistency is achieved and group planning remains realistic.

Ex You can plan your budget in cost cneter accounting. with the integrated planning the same will be transfered to profit cneter accounting if you have defined your profit cneters in you cost cneters. This is like planning in one area and making it consistent with other areas with out doing it again.
