Hi,

I want to know the customization steps for the following:

1.How to change one method to another,what happens if we change the method for the previous postings.

2.what is AUC ? How to configure in SAP?

(1) You might want to explain in little bit more detail about your purpose to change from one method to another one.

You can definitely change the method even if the depreciation is posted for that particular asset and next time when you run the depreciation again, it will catch up or if the depreciation is not yet posted and then you change the method than you can re-run your depreciation for that month and it will post the adjustment posting.

You can change from 1 method to another in your change asset t-code AS02.

Does your question relates to changing method for one of your depreciation key in config?

(2) AuC is called Asset Under Construction and on completion you caplitalize it to Final Fixed Asset(s) which depreciates over its useful life. AuC DOES NOT depreciates. To configure go in t-code OAOA and copy paste SAP std AuC class and modify according to your needs.
