Dear all,

Is there any way we can measure the up time of SAP in a day. Is there any report which can tell as to on each day what was the uptime in percentage.

Kindly help me in getting this info. It will be a great help for me.

Thanx & Regards

Arjun.

Hi Arjun

SAP remains up for days on a trot unless it is bought down manually or due to some error. To check when a particular SAP system was last restarted check ST04.

Hi Arjun,

As Ruchit mentioned SAP is designed for full availability and when properly configured can run for months without any downtime.

You can check the last time the system was restarted in st02, and you can check the last time the DB was restarted in st04

Dear Juan/Ruchit,

But my requirement is total duration of downtime. If you see the Early watch report it clear tells that in one week your system availability was 95% some thing like that.

I want to know is there any way we ourself can extract this report ??

Hello,

Please check the available.log in the work directory. It will give you the system uptime and downtime.

Mathan.
