Dear All,
We r using prodn. strategy 30. We don't take MRP run for finished material. First we create production orders for finished material & then we take MRP run to create planned orders for semifinished material.
After MRP run , production orders of semifinished material of previous month gets rescheduled . How to avoid this ?
We created production orders of NOV2007.
When we take MRP run today i.e. SEPT2007 to create planned/prodn orders of OCT2007 m/c shop plan. It shows wrong results. It is not giving right requirement for blanks .
PL' answer.
Hi Kishore,
Resheduling harizon in defined in no of days to Rescgdule the unused Planned orders/purchase requisitions to cover the requirement. It is defined in MRP group OPPR and in the Plant parameters OPPQ.
If the unused planned orders lies before the requirement date then it is Resheduled Out i.e. Postpone process.
If the unused planned orders lies after the requirement date then it is Reschedule In i.e. Bring forward operation.
Hope it is clear. Reward points if useful.
Thanks and regards

Yes, Production orders can also get resheduled. Any unused receipts falling within the Rescheduling Horizon will get rescheduled. However in OPPQ for plant or MRP group parameters, we can restrict which receipts to be considered for rescheduling and which receipts not to be considered.
Once the Production order status is TECO, it will not appear in MD04, so no chance of getting affected by Rescheduling.
Dear,
Just firm the planned order, system will give * mark infront of planned order number(ex-0000061901/RS *), These orders will not be rescheduled by system even you run MRP!!!!!.
Try and come back if need more help.

Dear,
Just goto MD12 and enter the planned order and in the planned order screen,
in the firming subtab check the check box-planned order...it will firm the order.
Now your one more questioon is - productioon orders will not get resceduled automatically when you run MRP.....it will give exception message, you need to take a decision depending on your requirement
One more question or yours...- You will get the report in MDLD
EM - 15 is falling under EM group - 7, hence
In MDLD, check the check box - Exception during rescheduling and run the report with other required parameters...
You will get the result for EM-15/10...
Hi Kishore
Its better you firm all your planned order either manually or automatically
for automatically you use MRP type P1
Cheers
Bala

Restrict it using the Reschediling horizon functionality in OPPQ for a plant or a MRP group.
This prevents receipts out side the Rescheduling horizon from beiong rescheduled.
Reward if your issue is resolved.

Hi,
In OPPQ/OPPR increase the tolerance value to a high value.
The system compares this value with the ( order finish date - reqmts date) and if it is greater the system do reschedules.
Ex tolerance value -
2
diff bet ( order finish date - reqmts date ) -
5
the system reschedules.
so increase the tolerance value to 5 and see the results. The system does not
reschedules.
OR in OPPQ disable the indicator for production order
Regards,
nandha
