Hi,
In BI development, I was trying to load data into the ODS. The data is getting loaded for the first time perfectly. But, from the next load onwards the same data is getting loaded again and again ( I tried to load different data the next time). I think, the data which got loaded into the PSA for the first time is getting loaded again and again. When i try a different load, the previous data which was present in PSA is not getting overlapped. How can i correct this...please help.
Thanks,
Vikki
Are u not doing a delta load aft the first laod assuming u hav Initiliazed w/d datatransfer...is the extractor delta enabled in the first place?
If ur using DTP den do Delta DTP having ur infopackage set up with delta update aft initiliaztion..

If all elements are set to overwrite in the DSO then it doesnt matter even if you do a full.
Make sure that the dtp from the DSO to the Cube is a delta. Use the DSO to manage your deltas.
Also are you loading from a flatfile ?
Can you use an Infopackage to load data into PSA and then use delta dtp.
Also if you write everything into a process chain you can delete overlapping requests in the InfoCube thus avoiding duplication of records.

I am using a DTP and I am not using a info package.
The data flow is as follows
Data source->tranformation->ODS-> tranformation--->Info cube
The DTP is of type FULL.

Are you using DTPs to load the DSO ?
Is the DTP of type delta or full ?
A full DTP will bring all the requests that u have in your PSA into the DSO.
