transactional data load using generic extractor BI 7.0

Hello,

I made generic extractor in R/3.

I've tried to load data to BI 7.0 and I doesn't get any data record loaded into BW, however it actually works in transaction RSA3.

Could you give me some advice or some tips to get into acount when developing generic extractors. Maybe a check list....

Thanks in advance.

Bye Bye

    Hi Cecila,

If you can see the data in RSA3 then everything seems to be fine in the R/3.

I think you need to look into the transformations on the BW side. And also look out if there are any data selections specified in the infopackage or the DTP for which the data may not exist in R/3.

    Assign points if helpful.

    Regards

First and foremost in BI is to replicate the data sources.

After that, eitrher adopt the new flow with transformations and load to the target or use the info source.

Depending on what you have, you need to investogate as to why the data is not geting loaded.

      1) Data source were replicated

      2) There is any filtered value in infopackage.

I've just tried to load data from source system to PSA....

The load request ends with a warning saying that there is no data at source system(but there is!!!).

      Thanks a lot

Is it useful if I tell you that the extractor is based on an InfoSet?

    Hello everybody

    I've allready found a solution.

I checked SM37 and found a job finished, but in it's log were a message reporting an a authorization problem.

So I got SAP_ALL for the user ALEREMOTE and the problem was solved.

    Thanks a lot
