Smartform dump

Hi,

I have created one smart form in development client. But In smart forms transaction if I give that smart form name and If I press display button dump is coming. So how I can open that smart form even in change mode also the same dump is coming. Please help me.

The best way to identify the dump is goto SMARTFORM_TRACE tcode and activate trace on, run your smartform tcode, now go back to SMARTFORM_TRACE and read the log , you can easily identify the cause of the error by going through the log.

Now goto smartform tcode, identify in which window error is coming out, try to delete that particular text/templet/ table etc from the window... before deleting don't forget to take back up of your smartform... no re-run your smartform tcode and see whether error is coming or not.... if not coming it is confirmed something wrong is done in the elments of that window try to correct them...

goto SM50 tcode, identify all the process that are running on the name, tick all your process, from menu, DELETE with CODE( I guess this option....currently, I don't have access to system)

Now, re-login and then try to open ... this time I guess you will be successful.
