Tax Code

Hai To All,

I want to use Tax Code for some screens. My problem is i want tax code,tax component to be fill.

The Tables are,

OSTC,OSTA,STA1

I want to knw the relationship to these tables. I cant find it out.

Does anyone knw help me.

Hi Anitha,

The tax codes are also linked to OFML and FML1.. These tables specify the formula used to calculate the tax code.. If you just want to pull out the list of tax code you can use the table OSTC.. STA1 is for the child entries of OSTA.. Now the problem is if you are tryin to use the formula calculation,SAP doesnt really provide access to the tax calculation formula they use.. i faced the same problem. I hope this helps

I have another doubt in SAP if we give some values like Tax code and discount did SAP will automatically calculate the Tax and give to us.?

It depends.. If you are using the DIAPI for adding say for example an invoice then it will do the tax calculations for you. But if you want to add the tax to your user defined form it doesnt. This is a big problem i faced during one of are add on development which resulted in changing the logic of the add on entirely..

Ur using our program choosefromlist and and linkbutton in Tax(matrix)

automatically calculated in tax values
