For negative reversal you have to check "Negative psotings allowed' in Global parameters -oby6

In Negative revaersal transaction figures on the original side of the account are reset again rather than being increased on the other side of the account when documents are reversed

Hi Kishore,

Neagtive reveral is nullifying the effect i.e suppose u have passed an entry

G/L X Dr 100

G/L Y Cr 100

in negative reversal, when u reverse the entry the posting will be

G/L X Dr -100

G/L Y Cr -100

where as in general scenario it should be

G/L Y Dr 100

G/L X Cr 100.

This can be done at Global Paramaeter ( OBY6 ) Activating the negative posting allowed box.
