    Hi Meenakshi,

The transaction keys are used to determine accounts or posting keys for line items which are created automatically by the system.

The transaction keys are defined in the system and cannot be changed by the user.

If it is not ticked means that transaction key / posting keys are independent of COA.

Please double click the Key it wont ask your COA accordingly it is not possible to assign G/l Account for this key, no procedures and no rules for this key.

Please check your transation whether it has been updated to any or the particular account.

    Warm Regards,

    Hi Meenakshi,

    Read it carefully,

at OBYC by default we have a Goup RMK(If u wish u can create cople of groups), in that group, We have cople of Transaction Keys in it, and a Account Determination Check box beside all these Transactions Keys, And almost all are flagged.

Flagging this checkbox means that, that particular Transaction Key can be used for Account Determination.

    Now here, account determination means,

First it will display how your GL is determined, so, based upon ur checkbox selection i.e, Debit/Credit; AND/OR Valuation modif. AND/OR Valuation class, It will allow to pinpoint to a GL account,

See normally we will assign a Valuatin Grouping Code, Valuation Class and a GL account, that means. That particular Transaction key will serch GL through Valuation Groping Code, Valuation Class then finds the GL.

Now, If u doesnot select this "Account Determination Key" itself, then u can not be prompted to enter the Debit/Credit; AND/OR Valuation modif. AND/OR Valuation class.

    Assign Points if useful
