Stop BEx Query Designer from showing Currency Unit above column - always show Currency Unit in line

Hi

I have a BEx Query which shows a monetary Key Figure in a report.

The Currency-unit is shown inline in each row, if more than one unit exist.

However, when all Currency Units on each row are equal for the Key Figure, the (only) Currency unit is displayed on top of the Key Figure column in an extra added header line.

H1 Char Header - Key Figure Header

R1 Row 1 - Key Figure 1 DKK

R2 Row 2 - Key Figure 1 GBP

R3 Row 3 - Key Figure 1 DKK

And

H1 ' ' - Key Figure Header

H2 Char Header - DKK (all rows)

R1 Row 1 - Key Figure 1

R2 Row 2 - Key Figure 1

R3 Row 3 - Key Figure 1

Since were are using the BEx Report as a basis for an Excel VBA-solution, I would like the latter case, where (the single) Key Figure Currency Unit is shown in a new added header line and force it always to show the Currency Unit in line in each row, like this:

H1 Char Header - Key Figure Header

R1 Row 1 - Key Figure 1 DKK

R2 Row 2 - Key Figure 1 DKK

R3 Row 3 - Key Figure 1 DKK

Is this possible in any way?

I do not have direct access to the underlying InfoProvider in BW. I can only work with data through the BEx Query Designer.

I have looked at creating a Formula using the NODIM Data Function (NODIM(Key Figure 1)). This removes the unit alltogether, but I need to preserve it since my Excel-solution is using this information.

Thanks in advance.

You should get the desired output by default, so I think there's something in your query that's changing this. I don't have a query designer instance to check myself, but have you looked at the properties of the key figure in question in Query Designer? I think there's a setting on the display or calculations tab for this

Hi,

I guess you see in the header, when you are viewing the report in the Web, if yes, this solution should work for you:
