Hi,
I try to install SAP Vora dev edition 1.4 for OpenSAP training course. Unfortunately when I try to start (Power On) the SAP Vora Developer Edition within the VMware Workstation 12 Player, I get this error. I tried then to go through the instructions in the link www.vmware.com/go/turnoff_CG_DG, but it seems a little hard core for me. I do not neither admin rights and I am not sure what will happen if I even succeeded to run the commands. Is there any other workaround about powering the Vora?

Regards
Beata

Hi Beata,

You should ask this question in the discussion forum of the course - I assume that you're referring to the current course Big Data with SAP Vora - Engines and Tools. The experts are on-hand to answer any questions related to the course and exercises.

Kind regards,

Claire

If you are not comfortable following the suggestions from VMWare, you are probably out of luck. The only other option you have is to find a tool to convert the VM to a format that MS HyperV will accept so you can run the VM in HyperV instead of VMWare.
