Hi friends
Can we give different Incoterms for each line item in order? I think we can. If we do so will there be any problem??

Can we give multiple Incoterms while creating LC through VX11N. If it is possible please guide me how to create. Also please guide me how to give this respective LC in sale order.

Hi,
Yes you can have different incoterms for different line items. Double click on the line item and go to the "billing document screen". Here you can enter different payment terms as well as different incoterms for the line item different than that at the header level.
<b>Effects:</b>
1. If incoterms is different at item level then you will have to use freight condition type at item level only.
2. The delivery will be split because of different incoterms.
3. accordingly the invoice will be split. Say you have 5 line items and all have different incoterms than header then the system will create 5 different deliveries & invoices for the 5 line items.

There will not be any issues if u have different incoterms for each line item.
the effect will be differenty delivery will be created depending upon on the incoterms terms & hence transportation cost will diferent

You can certainly have different INCO terms each line item wise but you should also be aware that based on INCO terms, delivery split will be there.

You can have incoterms different for different line items. There is no problem with it.
The only difference will appear in the freight calculation where you have to use freight item condition type instead of header condition type for freight.
