Integrate BW 3.5 with EP 7.0

If someone can help me resolving this issue that if we can integrate BW 3.5 with EP 7.0. If yes, then would like to know the steps involved in this integration.

The Portal capabailities of SAP NetWeaver 2004s (or EP 7.0) is backward compatible with SAP NetWeaver BI 3.5. Therefore the SAP NetWeaver Portal 6.0 documentation should be applicable.

Integration of BW 3.5 and EP 7.0 is not the ideal integration and is not promoted by SAP. There is no documentation about it in help.sap.com. This integration should ideally work but with limitation. As long as the BW - EP configuration is correct, it should work. Note 917950, 937697 and 888687 for configuration steps. Ideally support package should be more than SP14.

Make sure you have BI JAVA installed on EP 7.0 then follow the instructions as per the link below. The Information Broadcaster JAVA classes reqd for BW 3.5 are part of BI JAVA usage type as of 7.0.

The link below is for EP 6 and BW 3.5 integration but this will work for BW 3.5 and EP 7.0 also.
