FO for pick-up and FO for Delivery

Hi,

When planning in TM we create port to port bookings. We would like to leverage the FO for pick-up and FO for delivery functionality but it does not work as our bookings are not door to door. Do you know why the FO that gets created can not pull source information on the FO for pick-up and destination information for FO for delivery from the FU? Planning door to door bookings causes a lot of issues in our ocean process, but leveraging the FO for pickup/delivery functionality could save a lot of waste on our dray planning process.

Dear Calvin,

I don't fully understand your requirement, but I suppose you are using SAP TM as a freight forwarder and make use of container freight stations. Please note that the Freightorder for the drayage, so from the CFS to the port has to be created in the Ocean Booking. Go in the ocean booking to the tab items, select the top-most item and press the "create" button and select "Create Freight Order for Pick-up" See also this thread:https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3284604

If for example your customer brings the goods to your CFS and you want to have overview which stages are involved maybe it is an idea still to create a Door-to-Door FWO, but to make the stages from your customer to your CFS not relevant for planning, as far as understood no FU stages will be created. Another solution might be as described in the link below, but I think this functionality is only available for TM9.4
